
Marijn Tingen
Marijn Tingen is a psychologist and obtained his Msc. in clinical psychology at Utrecht University. He has worked at several organisations in the role of behavioural expert and currently works as a psychologist at a large Penitentiary Institution in the Netherlands. Here, he deals with the mental health of detainees, as well as risk assessment and management in the context of reintegration.
Marijn supports DANTES in threat assessment and risk assessment. He is currently training to become a healthcare (GZ) psychologist.
Marijn has a strong affinity with financial-economic crime, and has been working on this topic at DANTES for several years. He conducts scientific research on this subject and aims to further develop these services within DANTES. Currently, this involves both providing training, giving advice and developing a screening tool to identify the possible risks of a given personality profile. In collaboration with Bram Van der Meer, Marijn conducted a scientific literature study on personality profiling of white-collar criminals.
Marijn teaches the “European Certified Compliance Professional (ECCP)” course as a guest lecturer at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Together with Bram van der Meer, he lectures on “Screening & International Compliance Culture”.
