Training Services – Advanced
This two-day training builds on the skills that participants have acquired during the foundational program. The participant will now focus in more detail on the dynamics and psychological processes behind problematic behaviours such as manipulation, dominance, defensiveness, use of status and lying.
The participant will learn to construct and to perform a professional investigative interview plan and how to incorporate acquired behavioural information into the interview. The participant will practise with alternative interview approaches that he or she would not naturally choose or might even feel uncomfortable with. During the role play exercises, participants will be confronted with problematic behaviours and receive first hand advice on how to deal with these difficulties.
Unlike in the foundational training, the teachers will now focus more on the interviewer’s personal competencies and derailing tendencies. These aspects will be commented upon in order to build personal strength and confidence.
