European accredited threat management practitioner

Organisations, both in the public and the private domain are increasingly confronted with a wide range of risks and threats. There is an increased focus on the effective management of workplace violence and other forms of concerning behaviour that can have a great effect on the social safety of the organisation.

Managers leading workplace violence- or social safety programs in their organization are in need of a solid, in depth training professional training. The ‘European Accredited Threat Management Practitioner’ (EATMP) training meets this need.

Objective

This unique program has been designed to equip professionals in organizations with in-depth knowledge and skills in identifying, assessing and managing cases, as well as strengthening the competencies to contribute to the further development of social safety and violence prevention in their organization.

Structure

The training is intensive and lasts a total of 20 training days, excluding homework and online group meetings. The training is structured in 4 weekly blocks that requires physical attendance.
The training includes a mix of theoretical components, case analysis, group discussions, presentations of findings and writing reports. To guarantee an optimal learning experience, there is a maximum number of 15 participants.

Trainers

The trainers are all experienced specialists in their respective fields. They are well regarded researchers in their fields or leading experts with significant casework experience.
