Inge Nijenhuis
Inge Nijenhuis is a psychologist and obtained her MSc. in clinical psychology from Leiden University. In 2018, she expanded her knowledge by training as a holistic coach.
From 1998 to 2023, she worked in business. She held various directorial roles, including in business consultancy, project management and service management. Inge gained extensive international experience in personal collaboration, the functioning of operational teams and stakeholder management. She was HR responsible for employees in leadership and management positions. Central to her work was the guidance and development of these employees. In addition, Inge regularly provided support and advice when employees had conflicts with each other and focused substantively on developing leadership and professional responsibility.
At DANTES, she uses her knowledge and experience when organisations are faced with behavioural and social safety issues of concern. In cases of employee conflict or when employees are in crisis, she uses her skills to help these employees return to a healthy work situation where they can feel safe and be productive again.
In the development and implementation of ‘social safety and caring behaviour teams’ that DANTES provides for organisations, Inge plays an important role and her years of management experience and research into the functioning of operational teams are of great value.
She has a specific interest in developing coaching programmes for employees who display transgressive behaviour, cause unsafe situations and have resistance to change.
Inge provides training and workshops on effective communication, psychological de-escalation, psychological resilience, and managing power. She also supports organisations as an external confidential counselor, providing an independent and secure point of contact for employees with concerns about social safety, integrity, and inappropriate behavior.
