The phenomenon of social safety and the problem of workplace violence will be discussed and illustrated with case presentations. It will be demonstrated how knowledge of the psychological aspects of harmful behaviour can enhance the investigation, risk evaluation, and management of incidents and organisational threats. The presenter will also explore strategies that global corporations can use to identify potentially harmful situations at an early stage, prevent further escalation of violence, and foster a safer work environment.
